“Hello! My name is iisaac I’m 19 years old from San Diego California, I’ve been making music ever since I could remember, song writing for years now, and I’m an alternative and indie artist”.
Q: What got you into music and made you realize that it was your chosen path?
A: It was just a thing I always wanted to do, I just love the feeling of creating a song in my room, being able to write my own music is special to me because everything I write is about me, my life, everything I want to say in music format. Also creating different fun beats, as well as singing my songs at my home studio.
Q: Tell us about your new music (Song/EP/Mixtape/Album)? And what’s the story behind it?
A: Well, I have a new song called “Dancing Under The Dark. It’s about dancing away your worries for just a moment with that special someone, but in reality that special someone who you really want with you doesn’t exist. So you try to dance with that imagery person all in the dark, you see your shadow wishing it was that person but their not truly there. Dancing away the pain and having a good time with just your imagination.
Q: What makes your music unique? How would you describe it? (genres/sub-genres)
A: I feel like my music is unique because the way I make current beats, I try to add like some rock, some R&B, Just to make it sound different. I would say too my vocals on each song I try to sound a bit high pitched sometimes and switch to a more lower pitch for each song. As well as telling my life stories with music.
Q: Who are your biggest music influences? And any particular artist/band you would like to collaborate with in the future?
A: OMG definitely clairo and Kehlani just because their voices are so good and I would love to collaborate with them one day.
Q: How long have you been in the music industry?
A: I started to post my unreleased songs back in 2016 but I deleted them and didn’t really take it serious so in 2019 for sure.
Q: Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of? (awards, projects or public performances etc.
A: OMG when I did my first ever live show at brick by brick, it was such a fun thing to do and I feel very proud that I was able to sing my songs on stage, with my family there supporting me. It feels great!
Q: How do you balance your music with other obligations – family, friends or work?
A: Music has always been a top priority of mine because I love it and it’s something I was born to do, but I do spend a lot of time with family, like holidays or in general I’m always with them! And my friends work so its kinda hard not seeing them as often as I would like but maybe someday we can hang out more often!
Q: What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
A: Don’t give up! Keep making the music! keep your head up high and most importantly be patient.
Q: If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?
A: Thank you for listening to my stories with my music, loving them, singing them, relating to the lyrics so i thank you for sticking around with me. It’s only the beginning.
Q: What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?
A: More music for sure. More live performances, so much stuff in the works and I can’t wait to say them soon!
