Hey everyone my Artist name is Masada II and I’m a lost soul. Masada name means “Foundation” which why I chose it as my stage name. My new Song Sike! is a love song in reverse which is weird because love songs are usually different in style.
Q. What got you into music and made you realize that it was your chosen path?
A. Music was a big part of my childhood since it inspired me to be who i am today in many ways. One of which is a big part of my youth genre wise was edm and rock/metal music. Then I found Juice WRLD rest in peace with hip-hop/rap music. It’s cool I love it.
Q. Tell us about your new music (Song/EP/Mixtape/Album)? And what’s the story behind it?
A. My song “Sike!” is well as you know a love song about dark times I went through. I named it “Sike!” solely because of word play. If you reverse the line “sike I lied” it means “yeah I like us”. visa versa same thing with the other words.

Q. What makes your music unique? How would you describe it? (genres/sub-genres)
A. Music is an artform with many things that are similar uniqueness is a broad word since everyone can become inspired by anything or anyone really. My music is weird since I have odd tastes if that makes sense. I’m just doing me at the end of the day.
Q. Who are your biggest music influences? And any particular artist/band you would like to collaborate with in the future?
A. My biggest influences are from recent and older artists like Marshmello, Escape the fate, Motionless in White, Juice WRLD, and many other artists to say the least. I’d love to collab with Ericdoa/Post Malone since their music is well other worldly in my opinion.
Q. How long have you been in the music industry?
A. I’ve haven’t really stepped my foot into this industry until recently. so there’s many things I’m learning as I go. Just wish I’d known a few things before hand.
Q. Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of? (awards, projects or public performances etc.
A. My best moment so far was when I saw my song hit around 9k on soundcloud. It was truly a huge motivator for me. I was so proud. My family were happy and cheering me on. Made me smile a bit.
Q. How do you balance your music with other obligations – family, friends or work?
A. Well I’m heavily introverted so family and friends are not the biggest of my concerns. Since I keep my circle very slim. I don’t intend to grow it and lose everyone when I need them you feel me. As for work let’s not talk about that. I’m unemployed lol.
Q. What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
A. For musicians and artists I’d recommend practicing everyday and grind hard for what you want. Stay positive with everything and have faith/confidence in what you do. Please take care of your mental health that comes before anything else.
Q. If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?
A. I love you all so much. Thank you for showing me I mean something to someone. Even as a fan of many others love is all we can give to share happiness with each other in this world. it’s a cruel and scary place.
Q. What’s next for you? Any upcoming projects?
A. I have a few up and coming releases. I don’t want to say to much, but I do have a certain song that I want to drop soon. Not sure when but it’ll be a banger i promise.
