Hey everyone I’m a 19 year old artist that goes by the stage name Ohlixis the name it’s self didn’t really have a meaning I just wanted to have a unique name from other artist.
Q. What got you into music and made you realize that it was your chosen path?
A. Music has always been a huge part of my life but i didn’t start taking it serious until i was around 12 years old. what really made me realize i wanted to do music was when i seen how music could capture feelings and others could feel what i was feeling.
Q. Tell us about your new music (Song/EP/Mixtape/Album)? And what’s the story behind it?
A. My new song “move on” is a song about a recent break up i went through and i really just wanted to pour my feelings into the song.
Q. What makes your music unique? How would you describe it? (genres/sub-genres)
A. Im really diverse when it comes to music. I try to create songs in every genre so i can have music that all people would like can listen to.
Q. Who are your biggest music influences? And any particular artist/band you would like to collaborate with in the future?
A. There definitely are a few influences i take into consideration like polog, drake, xxxtentaction, juice wrld, and many more. someone i would like to collaborate with would have to be a producer by the name of turbo for sure.
Q. How long have you been in the music industry?
A. From the age of 12 to my current age of 19 so around 7 years.
Q. Which is the best moment in your musical career that you’re most proud of? (awards, projects or public performances etc.
A. When i was younger i dropped alot of songs and one of my songs hit 10k on soundcloud and that really motivated me to keep going. so i was really proud of that.
Q. How do you balance your music with other obligations – family, friends or work?
A. I really force myself to keep going cause i know one day it’s going to pay off even tho i work everyday that will never make me stop music.
Q. What advice would you give to aspiring musicians?
A. Keep going no matter what. No matter how hard it gets let music be your outlet. Let others know how you feel through music and you yourself could inspire others to do the same.
Q. If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?
A. Thank you to whoever has went out of there way to listen to my music and support me. means the world.
